‼️Energy Express Interest Survey‼️ Wyoming County Schools is proud to partner with WVU Extensions to offering a fun and amazing time with Energy Express. This program will provide a dynamic learning opportunity for students entering into grades 1-4. Locations will be in three areas within Wyoming County: Berlin McKinney, Mullens Elementary, and Pineville Elementary. Summative Assessments will begin soon with grades 3-8 and 11 Alternate Assessment beginning April 4th followed by the 11th grade SAT School Day on April 13th.💻 The WV General Summative Assessment for grades 3-8 and 11 will begin on May 2. Former Pineville Minuteman and author, Letisha Cook, visited Pineville Elementary first graders today! She and her daughter, Harper, took turns reading her newly published children’s book “A Flamingo for Harper’s Birthday.” She shared her book character plushie and passed out flamingo stickers to everyone. 🦩📖🦩📖

High School students will be about 20 minutes late getting home! Elementary and Middle School students will be about 4:20 before they leave the school. Bus 213 will bring those students home!

Students in Mrs. Griffith’s Kindergarten classroom at Pineville Elementary School are flocking into spring time by learning about animals and life cycles. Students began their first study on chickens. On day one each student picked out an egg and placed them into an incubator. Each day students are examining the eggs, adding water to the incubator when needed, recording the humidity and temperature, and documenting any changes they see.
