The mission of Oceana Middle
School, in partnership with families and
communities, is to facilitate both high expectations and high academic
achievement while addressing the varying needs and learning styles of middle
school learners. We will provide a
safe, challenging environment where students will be respected and taught to
respect others. We will foster
lifelong learners that are self-sufficient and can contribute in our changing
